OKE OC3215 — CVD Coated Carbide Turning Insert for Cast Iron
The OC3215 is a CVD-coated carbide grade engineered for semi-finish and rough turning of cast iron (ISO application group K). Its MT-TiCN + Al₂O₃ coating delivers 1580 HV surface hardness, outstanding crater-wear resistance and stable performance at high cutting speeds on grey cast iron and ductile iron.

Insert designation
Supplied as CNMG 120408 (ISO 1832): 80° rhombic, IC 12.7 mm, thickness 4.76 mm, corner radius 0.8 mm, with 40°–60° countersunk center hole and double-sided 3D chipbreaker. Other sizes and chipbreakers (OTR roughing / OTM medium / GM finishing) are available on request.
